Sri Lanka Legends will take on West Indies legends in the second semifinal at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Thursday in the ongoing Road Safety World Series. Sri Lanka legends had finished at the top of the points table with four wins in five matches and a total of 18 points. They have been unbeaten so far in the tournament.
Sri Lanka legends had won their previous match by a huge margin of 70 runs against Bangladesh legends. Sri Lanka had posted a big score of 213 runs after their skipper Tillakaratne Dilshan top scored with 51 runs off just 30 balls. Furthermore, Dilshan took three wickets to keep the opposition at bay.
On the other hand, West Indies legends won two out of the five matches they played. West Indies lost one game while two of their matches ended in no result because of the rain.
West Indies lost their previous match against Australia legends by eight wickets and they will be determined to bounce back stronger in the all-important semifinal.
