Mumbai Indians: Schedule, Probable Playing XI, Squad for IPL 2025 – All you need to know

Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will kick off their campaign against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Sunday. MI will be without the services of their Hardik Pandya for the opening clash due to a slow over-rate offense and in his place, Suryakumar Yadav will lead the team.

Furthermore, MI will also not have Jasprit Bumrah for the first three matches and it is going to be a huge blow for the franchise. MI were able to retain their core as they were able to keep the services of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Tilak Varma ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction.
