Puneri Paltan had lost their previous match against Dabang Delhi K.C. on a golden raid. Aditya Shinde scored seven points whereas captain Aslam Inamdar added six points.
Meanwhile, Patna Pirates suffered a 30-38 loss against Bengaluru Bulls in the last match. Ayan scored 10 points, but his efforts went in vain.
