Hockey India has unveiled a 36-member core probable squad for the senior men’s national coaching camp, set to take place at the Sports Authority of India centre in Bengaluru from April 20 to May 9, 2026.
The camp comes at a pivotal time as the national side gears up for a packed international calendar, including the European leg of the FIH Pro League 2025–26, the World Cup, and the Asian Games. With a focus on tactical cohesion, physical conditioning, and match simulations, the initiative aims to sharpen combinations and build depth across all departments.
The goalkeeping unit blends experience with youth. Established names like Krishan Bahadur Pathak, Suraj Karkera, and Pawan will be joined by promising talents Mohith H.S. and Princedeep Singh, offering a competitive edge between the posts.
In defence, captain Harmanpreet Singh will lead the charge alongside Amit Rohidas. They are supported by a strong lineup that includes Jarmanpreet Singh, Jugraj Singh, Sanjay, and Sumit. Additional depth is provided by Poovanna C.B., Yashdeep Siwach, Nilam Sanjeep Xess, and Amandeep Lakra, ensuring flexibility in defensive strategies.
The midfield unit showcases a balanced mix of seasoned campaigners and emerging players.
