Galatasaray are interested in signing Noa Lang from Napoli and Christopher Nkunku from AC Milan, respectively.
Lang has been an outcast at the club and, last season, played for the Turkish champions. They’ve put him up for transfer, and Ajax and Galatasaray are talking about a deal for him.
Sky Sport cited CalcioMercato that both clubs have contacted sporting director Giovanni Manna in the last 24 hours. It was also reported that Atalanta were also interested, making their move last week.
Since his return to Naples on 30 June following a loan spell at Galatasaray, Lang has been on the fringes of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans and has been shopped around by the club.
A move back to Turkey is on the cards, and a reunion with Lang, who spent six months on loan at Galatasaray last term. It also appeared it would shut the door on the Turkish club’s parallel pursuit of Milan’s Rafael Leao.
According to reports, none of the three suitors, Ajax, Galatasaray, or Atalanta, have gone beyond offering a loan at the most.
In a related development, Galatasaray have also spoken with AC Milan regarding Christopher Nkunku.
The Turkish giant are now one of many suitors vying for the forward’s signature as he edges towards the Rossoneri exit door.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri revealed that the Turkish club began negotiations with the Milan hierarchy on Monday, having been monitoring Rafael Leao for some time.
Ruben Amorim doesn’t seem to have Nkunku in his plans, as the Frenchman is one of four players told they can leave San Siro before the season starts.
Nkunku is also being watched by RB Leipzig, the club he left for Chelsea in 2023. The Bundesliga club are also pushing hard to bring him back to Germany.
