Borussia Dortmund are closely monitoring the situation surrounding PSV Eindhoven midfielder Joey Veerman, with German media reports indicating the 27-year-old is available for around €20 million thanks to a release clause that is set to expire in the coming days. 

The Black and Yellows have already shown interest in the central midfielder, though their primary focus this summer remains securing a new winger to strengthen the attack.

While Dortmund continue their pursuit of 1, FC Köln’s highly rated talent Said El Mala, club officials are also progressing with other potential deals. 

Veerman’s expiring clause has elevated him as a realistic and timely option in midfield, offering the club a chance to add experience and quality without a prolonged negotiation.

The Dutch international has spent the past four and a half years at PSV Eindhoven, establishing himself as a reliable presence in the heart of the team.
