India will lock horns against the West Indies in a virtual quarterfinal of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Sunday. The Men in Blue were clinical against Zimbabwe and they would look to carry the good show against the West Indies in a must-win contest.
Suryakumar Yadav’s team had a rare off-day against South Africa but they were able to bounce back strongly against Zimbabwe. Abhishek Sharma got back into form with a 30-ball 55 whereas Tilak Varma would have also gained confidence after smashing 44 runs off just 16 balls.
On the other hand, West Indies will need to come up with an improved performance against India in this do-or-die game.
