India will take on Namibia in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, on Thursday. The hosts could not come up with a collective batting performance in the opening clash against the USA as they were left tottering at 77-6.
The Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav was the lone warrior as he scored a blistering knock of 84 runs off just 49 balls. On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah practiced with the team, and he is available for the match against Namibia.
However, there is uncertainty about Abhishek Sharma’s availability, as the Indian opener was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Namibia will need to play out of their skins to challenge the Indian team. They would want to make the most of the opportunity and take as many positives as they can.
