India was able to take an unassailable lead of 3-0 in the five-match series after they obliterated New Zealand by six wickets in the third game. Indian openers Abhishek Sharma and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi were at their absolute best in the last game, adding 133 runs off just 43 balls.
Abhishek scored a stunning knock of 113 runs off just 38 balls and the left-hander has risen to the number one position in the ICC T20I rankings.
Sooryavanshi was also able to grab his chance with both hands while opening the innings as he scored a quickfire knock of 45 runs off just 19 balls.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has had a tough return as he has conceded his runs at 11.58 and thus he would look to make a solid comeback. India can also afford to make a few changes as they have already sealed the series.
On the other hand, the New Zealand bowlers haven’t been able to execute their plans. Ergo, they would look to come up with an improved performance.
However, there is no doubt that the bowlers will have their work cut out as Eden Park is a small ground.
