India will take on Ireland in the first T20I at Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast on Friday. The Men in Blue are the T20 World Cup champions and they will begin a new chapter under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer, who has taken over the baton from Suryakumar Yadav.

Iyer has been impressive with his leadership in the IPL and he would look to back his own style while leading the national team for the first time.

It would be interesting to note India’s combination as the players had delivered consistently in the World Cup. On the other hand, it would be imperative for Ireland to come up with a collective effort.
