Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on each other in the 67th match of the ongoing IPL 2026 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on Friday. While RCB already has 18 points under their bag, SRH have 16 points after 13 games.
SRH will need to win against RCB to have a chance to finish among the top two teams and hope that GT loses their final contest against CSK. SRH and GT have almost similar Net Run Rate and it could come into consideration if both of them win their final league stage match.
RCB, on the other hand, have a Net Run Rate of +1.065 and with 18 points already under their belt, they are looking all set to finish among the top two teams. RCB have played with an aggressive approach throughout the season and they have been able to reap rewards for the same.
When these two teams met earlier in the season in the opening game of the tournament, RCB registered a comprehensive six-wicket win, with Jacob Duffy, Virat Kohli, and Devdutt Padikkal shining for the defending champions.
However, since then, SRH have improved manifold, especially with the ball. Pat Cummins has led from the front since he has joined the team whereas the other fast bowlers have followed suit.
