Lucknow Super Giants will lock horns against Rajasthan Royals at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Wednesday. LSG is struggling at the bottom half of the points table as they have managed only two wins in six games.
Rishabh Pant’s team hasn’t been able to deliver with the bat and it has led to their downfall. The top order, which was at its best in the previous season, has failed to hit the straps.
Furthermore, LSG’s tactics were questionable in the last game as they promoted Ayush Badoni to open the innings, whereas Aiden Markram was pushed down the order.
LSG were able to register two wins on the trot but have suffered three losses on the bounce.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals could only manage 159 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous game and they would want to come up with an improved batting show. Riyan Parag’s form is a cause of concern as the RR skipper has failed to lead from the front.
After winning their first four games, RR have veered off the track, losing their last games and they would look to get back to winning ways.
Head to Head: Matches: 6, Won by RR: 4, Won by LSG: 2.
