Lucknow Super Giants will take on Gujarat Titans in the 19th match of the ongoing IPL 2026 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, on Sunday. Both of these two teams snatched a win from the jaws of defeat in their respective last games.
While GT defended two runs off the last two balls against Delhi Capitals, Mukul Choudhary smashed 54 runs off just 27 balls to help LSG get over the line against KKR.
Meanwhile, Jos Buttler scored a fine fifty for GT in the last game and it would do him a world of good as he hasn’t been in the best of form. Shubman Gill and Washington Sundar also scored brilliant fifties but Gujarat Titans would want more from Glenn Phillips towards the fag end of the innings.
Similarly, Ayush Badoni scored a crucial knock of 54 runs off 34 balls and became the second LSG batter to complete 1000 runs after KL Rahul. Badoni had failed to deliver in the first two games and this knock would have added a shot in his arm.
However, bowling will be a concern for both of these teams and they would want to come up with an improved performance.
