Delhi Capitals will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 39th match of IPL 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, on Monday. DC recently defeated the defending champions by six wickets in an away fixture, but since then have lost their last two games and would want to return to winning ways.

RCB, on the other hand, has played like there is no tomorrow. Their batting unit has gone hard from the outset, and there has been no stopping in the middle overs, despite the fall of wickets. 

The reigning champions registered a comprehensive five-wicket win against Gujarat Titans in their last game after veteran batter Virat Kohli scored a superb knock of 81 runs in the run chase of 206.

RCB’s batting unit has been ticking all the right boxes so far in the tournament but their fifth and sixth bowling options are a concern. Romario Shepherd has been taken to the cleaners by the opposition batters, and RCB must resolve this matter sooner rather than later.

Meanwhile, DC were able to post an above-par score of 264 runs against Punjab Kings on Saturday after KL Rahul scored a magnificent 152-run knock, but unfortunately, their bowlers could not defend it.
