The defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will lock horns against Lucknow Super Giants in the 21st match of the ongoing IPL 2025 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Tuesday. Both of these teams have been hot and cold so far in the season, managing two wins and as many losses in the four games they have played.
While Kolkata Knight Riders registered a convincing 80-run win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last game, Lucknow Super Giants claimed a 12-run win against Mumbai Indians.
The form of Rishabh Pant is a concern for LSG as the captain has managed only 19 runs in four matches. Pant has the skills to turn the match on its head but he needs to lead the team from the front as Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh have been doing the heavy lifting with the bat.
Digvesh Rathi has impressed with the ball for LSG and the mystery spinner would look to carry the good show.
On the other hand, Venkatesh Iyer and Angkrish Raghuvanshi delivered with the bat for KKR in the previous game whereas Vaibhav Arora was right on the money as he scalped three wickets.
