Lucknow Super Giants will lock horns against defending champions Gujarat Titans in the 30th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Saturday in a day game.
LSG has won four out of the six games they have played whereas GT has won three out of their five games. The KL Rahul-led team came up with a brilliant bowling in their previous match to defend 155 against Rajasthan Royals.
Avesh Khan and Marcus Stoinis were right on the money for LSG as they had scalped three and two wickets respectively. Moreover, Kyle Mayers had scored a fifty on a slow pitch.
On the other hand, Gujarat Titans lost their previous match against Rajasthan Royals by three wickets and they will be looking to come back to winning ways. The Titans will want to come up with a better batting performance against LSG. Mohammed Shami was sensational for GT in the last game against RR as he returned with figures of 3-25.
Lucknow has produced low-scoring pitches so far and it could be another such encounter.
