India vs West Indies, 1st Test – Stats Preview

India will square off against the West Indies in the opening Test match of the series at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad from October 2 onwards. Team India has ticked the right boxes in the home conditions but they were shocked by New Zealand in 2024.

Indian batters had struggled against the spinners against the Kiwis and they would look to come up with an improved show. 

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah is available for selection in both games and he is going to hold the key for the home team. 

On the other hand, the West Indies would look to come up with a collective effort to challenge the hosts. The likes of Roston Chase, Shai Hope, and Brandon King will hold the key for the visitors.
