Red-hot favorites India will begin their Asia Cup campaign against the minnows United Arab Emirates at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on Wednesday. There have been a lot of discussions regarding India’s playing combination and all the questions will be answered on the match day.
Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav remained tight-lipped when he was asked about Sanju Samson’s selection in the final XI. Samson was in fine form in the Kerala Cricket League but Shubman Gill’s introduction as India’s vice-captain, has raised doubts on his selection.
Furthermore, it would be interesting to note India’s bowling combination as they have a lot of variety in their attack. Bumrah has returned to the T20I squad and the ace pacer will add a lot of strength to the team.
Suryakumar Yadav’s T20I form is a cause of concern and the Indian skipper would want to lead from the front after undergoing Sports Hernia surgery.
On the other hand, UAE will need to play out of their skin to challenge the potent Indian team. The hosts will look to make the most of their own conditions and deliver their best.
