India’s fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has picked top five talented and skilled Indian bowlers. Singh was asked to pick from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami and Ravichandran Ashwin.
Singh picked Bhuvneshwar Kumar as the number one bowler in his list. Kumar is currently not part of the team in any of the three formats but scalped 28 wickets in 16 matches for Royal Challengers Bengaluru to take the franchise to glory.
The left-arm pacer picked Mohammed Shami in second place. Shami is also not currently part of the Indian team but he is known to have one of the best seam positions in the world and can get seam movement on any track.
Arshdeep Singh said on Krishnank Atrey’s YouTube Channel, “Bhuvi bhai is at the top because he is my personal favourite as well. I really like him, so I’m a little biased. I’ll rate all the fast bowlers first. At number two, I’d go with Shami bhai because, as you know, he can seam the ball on any wicket. His bowling is excellent, and he presents the seam perfectly.”
The Punjab pacer picked Kuldeep Yadav and his PBKS teammate Yuzvendra Chahal at number three and four respectively. Singh selected Ravichandran Ashwin in the fifth place.
He said, “Third would be Kuldeep Yadav because he has a very rare skill set, a left-arm Chinaman. Then there’s Yuzi bhai, as we are teammates in the Punjab team, and his record is also excellent. He has taken so many wickets. I wouldn’t want to rate Ash bhai at last, but there were no positions left, so he comes in at number five. He is a great, but Ash bhai was also my first captain in the IPL, Punjab. Sorry, Ash bhai, I’ll personally message you.”
Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh recently scalped four wickets in five T20Is against England.
